Syrian Identities at Home and Abroad

The Las Casas Institute marks the launch of the Centre for Catholic Social Thought and Practice with an afternoon seminar on the impact of the civil war on displaced Syrians. The UN's refugee agency, UNHCR, estimates that there are now 4.8 million Syrian refugeess and predicts that 8.7 million Syrians will be internally displaced in 2016. Join us as we discuss how displacement has impacted Syrian identities, both in Syria and beyond its borders.
